Posted on 02/15/2021

Over the weekend the Pirates swam at Oak Harbor to kick off their post season.

The girl’s team had a total of 30 swims and 29 of those times were best times, with all but three of them being lifetime bests for the girls.

On the boys side, of 39 swims they raced to 15 best times with all but two of those being lifetime bests.

In each individual event the top 32 in the Northwest District, across six Sectional meets, qualify for the District Championships, on Friday, February 19.

The boys locked up 10 Individual Qualifiers, with Collin Singler leading the way. He earned the top seed in the 100 Butterfly and the 200 IM in the District. The boy’s also qualified all three relays to the District Championships.

The girls earned six individual qualifiers and qualified all three relays as well.

On Wednesday, the Diving Championships will take place at BGSU. Competing for the girls is Kennedy Schnittker, and for the boys Tre Leber, Jake Savage, and Max Davis will be diving.

Congrats on a great season Pirates and Good Luck to District Qualifiers.
